I believe my book is important because I believe that every person is capable of communicating with the spirit world but not all students can follow the same path to their mediumship, in my many years of teaching I have found that while some students can pick up a crystal and connect immediately to spiritual energy others will feel no connection to crystals but given a different object such as ribbons can connect to spirit and communicate immediately. I have covered all significant methods that are most commonly taught to initially communicate with spirit to encourage students to feel confident in their mediumship until they no longer need a ’prop’ to aid communication.

Many talented church/spiritual leaders/mediums etc. have outstanding skills of mediumship/healing/psychic abilities but these skills do not necessarily transfer into excellent teaching skills, during my many years of sitting in development circles I have felt that some circles have been a reflection of the tutor’s own journey and not designed to enhance each individual student’s personal development of their own mediumship.

My motivation to write this book to was to make many spiritual topics such as clairvoyance and psychometry easily understandable and to raise awareness of the natural energies that surrounds our daily lives in forms such as feng shui and the earthly elemental energies of water and trees accessible I have done research on all of the subjects to simplify basic information and included pre-prepared relevant meditations and exercises pertinent to the subject so that teachers and individual students can work through any single chapter for a workshop/circle/home study with all of the preparation completed for them to make their teaching as interesting, uncomplicated and effective as possible.

The unique aspect of my book is the attention given to all aspects of mediumship, healing, self-development and lifestyle alongside teaching mediumship, I have included all aspects of personal and professional development by creating four sections, each section considers a different aspect of mediumship development and personal growth.

The book can be worked through as a beginner’s course in developing mediumship from the first chapter to the last or anyone can simply turn to a chapter with specific subject information such as clairvoyance and teach that. I have also made it user-friendly for anyone who wants to set up a home circle or wishes to study as an individual, there are no rules to follow just practical information suitable for all abilities. I believe that the more we learn about all forms of energy the stronger our connection is to the spirit world and the more accurate the messages we receive will be.
